The A-Frame construction will be replaced by straight walls

The northern wall (right side) will be extended by 3 m

The "void" seen in the foreground will be filled in - creating a level floor. The spiral stairs currently leading from the ground floor to this level will be moved to be used for the 3rd level (replacing the stairs which can just be seen in the left foreground).

A new straight set of stairs will lead to this level inside the new far eastern wall.

The current floor area shown above is ~54sqm ... unfortunately with limited use due to the A-Frame construction. The glass door at the end leads onto the current balcony. The view from this is over the playgound, dunes and Indian Ocean to the west.

The new open plan room with addition and new stair well will have a total floor area of ~80sqm - plus and extension to the from next to the new additional room (in front of the current one shown above). The new "Sun Room" will act as a buffer zone for the extremes in winter (winds) and summer (afternoon sun). Leading out from this new room (~35sqm) to the west will be an new full width balcony (~35sqm) - this will also be fully roofed to minimise the sunn hitting the interior too much in high summer.
